Welcome to the forums.

When I get new birds I usually keep them caged for a couple of days so they know the cage is their safe spot and they can get used to the new sights, sounds and people. The only exception to that was my Green cheek, Ollie, who was so confident he decided in less than 24 hours he wanted to be with me and made a jail break when I opened the cage door to adjust a perch I had placed a bit badly.
I'd say it depends on the bird really, if they seem ok with where they are now then let them out. If they are not leave them in or if you are not confident with them now is the time to start sitting outside the cage talking to them in preperation to tame/train them.

My Senegal decided that he knew that his cage was his place and he wanted to be out explore right off the bat. That was 12 years ago. He is an awesome parrot. You are going to lovde them. They are comical, affectionate, intelligent and quick learners. Best of luck with your new guys. :senegal: Feel free to check out my parrot website for information and supplies for your birds.
