"Sterling" and I say "hello"

New to the forum, and a new cockatiel owner. I am in total love with my birdie!!! I've had a couple of parakeets (which I bought at large chain pet stores) in the past and unfortunately they never lived very long. I recently bought "Sterling" from a reputable place, and am hopeful I've got a great healthy bird-friend, and will get to enjoy years and years of companionship and enjoyment. I'm a bit nervous and overly cautious because of the parakeet experience..but I'll lighten up hopefully as we go. Thanks for being here parrotforum! I look forward to meeting other bird owners!
