new bird owner!

Hi! I am new to this forum and new to owning a bird ... last week I bought a 5 week old princess of Wales parrot, I was wondering if anyone owned one that talks and at what age do they start talking?

I don't know about their talking ability but from what I've heard most birds start around the year mark but that varies between species and individuals. some never talk.
