Hello!!

Postby hoovopolis » Wed Sep 12, 2012 12:42 pm

Hello! I am hoovopolis, and was just recently married to my husband in June :) He is a first time cockatiel owner and I have had them since before I could speak!

I have had over 10 of them growing up with my mother, and currently have a 5 month old male grey named Bowser. He is pretty well behaved and clipped, but definitely likes to squawk and regularly demands head rubs.

As new "parents," we are here for any advice we can get. Just consider me and my husband newly married bird information sponges! :cockatiel:

I'm excited to get to know everyone! Will include some photos of the little guy tonight! :D

Hello and welcome! Congratulations on being newly married and having a new wonderful cockatiel. :] I look forward to photos.

There are people with a variety of opinions regarding clipping but might I suggest you read: http://trainedparrot.com/Clipping/
