We have had our African Senegal for about 6 months and brought a 4 month old loving Jubilee Macaw into the family about a month ago. The Senegal is a very sweet and attention loving character and the Macaw loves nothing better than playing a while and then snuggling up and laying on you. The Senegal was clipped before we met her but, our oh so friendly Macaw is freeflighted. She learned the very first day we had her to fly from her socializing perch to my arm by me simply tapping on my wrist with my other hand. The only issue that I really have right now is that when she hears my voice in the house, she will launch and fly room to room to track me down and land on my shoulder or head. She does a bit of talking as well but, sometimes were not exactly sure of what she is saying yet.
Anyhow, I am looking forward to reading and learning a lot from this forum as I get more time. I have been very impressed with what I have seen to this point.
