Introduction

Hello my name is Holly and I am going to get my very first parakeet in November and I am getting a male because I heard that they are easy to deal with then females. I will name him leo he is all white with some blue on him or I will get the yellow one I am glad to be on here so I can learn from all of you. This site will help me with all I need to know and have for my first bird I am looking forward to meeting you all and thanks for having me.

Welcome to the forums, if you have any questions just ask, there are loads of knowledgable people on here who can help you out. Have a read through Michaels articles too he has tons of good advice, even if you don't need to use them on a practical level they are a very interesting read

Nice to know I'm not the only one who actually is planning to get a Budgie/Parakeet! Welcome to the forums.
Just a young parrot novice looking to learn more. Considering getting a small parrot! (perhaps a budgie, lovebird, or conure!)
