Hi my name is Bec and I am a first time rainbow lorikeet owner.

for my birthday a friend gave me what I think is a young rainbow lorikeet (his/her beak still has a fair bit of black on it), I have totally fallen in love with Peanuts (was going to be called either Fabio or Carlotta) and it is such a snuggly little thing, likes to sit on my shoulder and cuddle against my neck (is this normal?) and neck scratches.

since i'm so new to owning one of these birds I have so many questions!

the cuddling is normal, atleast fo rmost birds, i don't know much about lori's.

I hope you and your bird have a lot of fun together!
