Absolutely not.

When I got my first grey, I didn't realize how smart these birds are, or how much attention they needed. He seemed lonely (he actually had psittacosis), so I got Maynard. The grey drove him nuts. Maynard was a very, very friendly bird, but the grey kept trying to kill him. They reached the point where they tried to bite each other whenever they could. One day, while they were both locked up, Maynard managed to bite the other bird's toe, and he died at the vet's office.

Then I got Marv, and Maynard was already poisoned. Marv thinks everyone loves him, and he got out and climbed up on Maynard's cage to say hi. Now Marv has seven toes. I'm completely paranoid about keeping them separated. Several times, they've managed to get together, and Marv has been bitten. I have OCD-like rituals I observe now, to keep them away from each other.
