parrot death help please

hello,I am looking for a bit of advise please.i inherited a pair of bonded parrots who were not tame but totally devoted to each other.i came home from work today to find the hen dead,she was totally unaprochable,I fact bless her you could not even look in her direction every time you looked at her she disappeared in to her box,so she may have been sick for a while.my delema is him what should I do,will he be grieving from the loss?how can I help him.he is not tame but is more open to my presence than she was.any advise would be gratefully received as my heart is breaking for him.thanks

You don't know why she died so get the other to an avian vet asap. He might have the same.

thank you,I have arranged for Monday.he seems to have lost his confidence without her.he hides in his box when I enter the room.

He will just be grieving. As long as he is still eating there is nothing to worry about regarding the grief, he will get over it with time and patience.
