Kakariki should have similar diets to cockatiels. 20-30% pellets, the rest fruits veggies and some seeds. All seeds will be nutritionally deficient for your bird. A good seed mix I use is prestige Australian parakeet mix, this should suit your bird. There are many different pellets you can buy Harrison's, TOPS, Zupreem.... And lentils should always be cooked thoroughly for birds but be sure to give different fresh foods each day. Not just lentils... Brown rice is a good one too and whole wheat pasta. Green veggies are good broccoli, kale and watercress. Avoid iceberg lettuce or lighter green leaves as these are mostly water and of little value but now and again is fine. All of these should be washed thoroughly!

I hope this helps.

All seeds meaning an all seed diet would be nutritionally deficient not seeds in general!
