Daylight Savings Time

Postby Admin » Mon Nov 02, 2009 8:59 pm

In order to see what time you have set to begin with on the forum, go to the main forum page, and look near the top under The Parrot Forum's banner and immediately under the links "FAQ" "Search" "Members" "User Control Panel" etc. On the left side, you should be able to see the time in the settings on your username.

Those members who observed daylight saving time recently (putting your clocks an hour back at 2 AM the first Sunday in the month November) may want to change their time on the forum.

You can change this on the forum by clicking the link "User Control Panel" at the top of the page, and then clicking "Board Preferences". Look for where it says "Summer Time/DST is in effect" and select "yes" or "no", and then click the "Submit" button.

Some observe Daylight Savings Time while others do not. To accommodate all forum members, you can manually select to have this in effect or not on the forum.

Just wanted to remind everyone that you can change daylight savings time settings in your board preferences as explained above so that the time on posts is accurate for your viewing.
