Yeh man, I might do a show with my cockatiel when he is trained next year at my brothers primary school summer fair in the hall. Just need to teach fetch, Wave and target as my cockatiel knows recall

I was concidering getting a budgie a couple of months ago, and then I did some internet research to see if it was something I thought I should do, and I stumbled upon Michaels Youtube videos, which lead me to trainedparots.com, which eventually lead me here. Now I have my little Pixie, and I couldn't be happier.

I want a bird so I had been doing lots of searches on the internet for info on training birds and videos of different kinds of birds doing tricks and interacting with their owners. I found the BirdTricks youtube channel about the same time I was still not sure what bird I wanted but mostly thinking about a budgie. One of Duke's training videos was on the sidebar of one of BirdTricks's videos. I watched it and thought it just made SO much sense and checked out the rest of your channel.

Then I was reading the BirdTricks blog and saw you had made a post about some training technique and I remembered you from your videos. So I found your channel again, got the link to your website, poked around, and found this forum. I love how helpful and friendly everybody is, so I joined and I plan on sticking around!

Well for me I wanted to join because this forum has a great deal of information. I enjoy reading and learning as well as smiling really big when I get to see all the wonderful pictures and home made toys.
I haven't quite figure how to re-size my pic yet but I will keep working on it. It would be nice to have it but I am so interested in all the posts I spend most of my time reading as well as posting questions and opinions.

Thanks to everyone here that makes this forum interesting and informative. :)

This is by far the most informative forum I've come across; the videos are an incredible resource. I have come across many forums when seeking info (bit of a research fanatic) but aside from a yahoo group, this is the only one I've joined. I certainly feel I can trust the info/advice on here & you folks don't tire of me prattling on about my parrot ;)

I was on YouTube watching parrot videos and came across yours. I thought kili :senegal: was pretty amazing, so is Truman but when I first found your YouTube channel you didn't have him. Ever since then I wanted a bird so I brought a cokatiel and he is doing great in training. :greycockatiel:
