If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands.

i'm not surprised. my 
could recognize different members of my family after more than 10 years without seeing them. when my aunt who put him in a closet approached him after 15 years he actually turned his back to her when she said hello to him. he never did that with anyone else.

I've read similar articles about this, that parrots have names in the wild. Parrots truly are such intelligent, complex beings!

I believe it. My flock knows each others names. Rambo and Myrtle also know the names of every one else in the house including the dogs and cats.
