I wouldn't be surprised if it was true.
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands.

i'm not surprised. my :amazon: could recognize different members of my family after more than 10 years without seeing them. when my aunt who put him in a closet approached him after 15 years he actually turned his back to her when she said hello to him. he never did that with anyone else.

Aww poor :amazon: . I am always being surprised by the intelligence of parrots.

I've read similar articles about this, that parrots have names in the wild. Parrots truly are such intelligent, complex beings!

I believe it. My flock knows each others names. Rambo and Myrtle also know the names of every one else in the house including the dogs and cats.
