I'd like to point this out though, at a pet shop we went to during our vacation, you could reach in and hold one of their tiels. These were young little tiels and apparently just had their wings clipped. (Now, before you say anything, it was good they were clipped or else they would be flying around the store!) A lot of the tiels tried flying in place, especially when you would hold them. They wouldn't go anywhere. What I think is that they could fly at one point and did, but now they couldn't and after that little taste of freedom they wanted more.

I am not going to flame you, but, I want to point out that they were improperly kept and should instead be in a large flight cage or aviary. Clipping baby parrots is detrimental to their mental health and development :(...
