I belive that all depends. I know a family who have all I think it's 4 or 5.they are different sexes as well. however, each has their own cage. and not all are taken out @ the same time. I would be very,very watchfull , & an extreamly advanced keeper.
You can't house a threesome. Even when they are always together (I've had a husband with two wives as well as a wife with two husbands), caging messes up the relationship because they associate cage with nest and even species that raise babies with help from other flock members would not share a nest.
