Dooooood ladysaphine I love your photos! Are you in Florida? That's where I am from and I would see a lot of those birds and alligators when I went kayaking. I love all the bird pictures!

I was actually making art full time for the last 3 years, but since the beginning of this year I have mostly just sold things I already made during that time with some commission here and there. I hav spent this year getting in shape and have taken that pretty seriously. I got fat sitting on my bum just drawing and stuff, lol. When I see videos I took of myself with Stevie at the beginning of the year, I'm just like O.O I still take some time to do art here and there but not as much as before.

You mentioned you had an etsy- I'd like to check it out, if you don't mind. I might not buy anything but I have a few artsy friends who might.

I don't live in Florida, although I wish. We went to Ft. Lauderdale last week, we had a blast. There's not many pictures from NC, where I live, because I haven't been able to bird lately. :/ My dad now works Saturday so bird walks are off. I should really get more picture of Peanut but I'm worried she would try to eat the lens.

What type of camera do you use?

All I know is that it's a Canon (my mom is letting me 'borrow' it) but a really useful tip on Flickr is that when you upload your photos it magically knows what camera it is. So apprently it's a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT. xD To me, it's an awesome camera with awesome zoom.

That's a really good SLR camera. I'm thinking of buying the cheapest one I can find just to start out.

Omg your GC pendant looks so much like Peanut! :O And you flower and mushroom pendants are so awesome! The carvings and the paintings and the stitches are amazing! I absolutely want some but I don't have PayPal or any money... Peanut is MY bird and my money. Keep up the good work!

Caitlin -- I've said it before and I'll say it again -- your work is gorgeous! I love that 'tiel painting so much, and I WANT that Sennie pendant on your ETSY! Maybe we can do a trade when I start making parrot purses? ^^

LadySaphine -- your photography is awesome! Have you ever submitted your photos to a magazine publication, such as Birds and Blooms? You really have an eye and should consider becoming a professional photographer.

Well, I guess I can share some of my stuff with you fine artists! lol I would love to do a watercolor work of my Sennie someday. Meanwhile I tend to paint mostly landscapes, animals, and fan art. Aurora Borealis is one of my favorite subjects.

Thanks GreenWings! I'm still new to photography, and I wouldn't mind being a bird photographer for a magazine when I'm older. My dream job would be an ornithologist or anything that gets me to work with birds. I just got a few shots of Peanut, time to make myself a profile picture! I'll try to get some of my drawings up, my scanner doesn't like me. :/

GreenWings, your aurora paintings are gorgeous! You guys inspired me to do more art stuff! A while ago my mom made glass pendants, maybe she'll let me make some parrot-themed ones. We also have a small kiln and polymer clay, and thanks to my art teacher I at least know how to make decent sculptures.
