They're an older couple and from what I gather, they are taking care of a new grandchild, and are busy now and don't have the time they once had to give to the bird.

All I can say is I SCORED! :)

That African in your avatar looks awesome! I'd like an African for their talking ability but I've seen to many that are not so friendly and I'm scared of those big nut crackers, LOL...

That skater bird looks pretty awesome too, LMAO... ;)

Today Noelani started screehing in her cage because I had to leave her sit in it for a while, the first time I walked in the room and gave a BIG NO bad girl, then walked away telling her to be good and wait. Later while quiet I came back in and told her good girl and wait, then I had to go out for about 30 mins to do some errands, and I came back and not a peep...

I nipped that thing in the bud as they say real quick, I don't want a screamer on my hands, so I've learned real quick to walk away and leave them and won't return until they learn they have to be quiet.

I don't think she's going to be a bitter or a nosiy bird at all, she's extremly gently and cuddly...

Ehehehehe thank you, she's my baby! She doesn't bite, either. I mean, she can get slightly nippy at times in a sassy way but never bites me hard or viciously. And I got lucky -- she's been socialized so she's cool with people. The only thing about Greys is that they can get skittery, but I tell her, "hey, it's cool, chill" and she settles down.

But yeah, her vocals are insane. She was yelling at me this morning while I was in bed to "Stand up! Come on, step up!" She thinks she's the boss, and wanted her breakfast. :D
