It is just amazing how some people just do not care about life it self. They just don't care if something lives or dies. It is very sad. I feel for the owners, :(

I have been trying real hard not to reply to this post because it is so sad. But in a world where people don't respect each others life, I am not surprised by this. Look around at the world we live in especially in the middle east and in Africa where things are horrible for the folks who live there.
Just a few months back here in the U.S. I heard many reports where young folks were going up to mostly older people and punching them in the face so hard that they lost consciousness. Ugh, I will stop here because it doesn't get better, only worse.

Yes, personally, I am terribly worried about the moral landscape of USA lately... I came to the States back in 1972 and it wasn't like it is now.

some people truly believe that they are the only person that has emotions, or even exists. i'm not just saying this to make a point. some people are that thoughtless. i don't know what these teens were doing with those birds, maybe they think birds don't have feelings, or maybe they just don't care about their feelings, either way. considering they did that to such a wonderful animal, suggests that the parrots were at least around as intelligent as the teens.
is this in court? if so i hope they are found guilty.
