Ok, that basically means that you probably have to go to Ashville to go to the vet or to find much in the line of bird things, right?

Pretty birdies! If Bliss is not molting her face soon, you have a little girl there.

no, we have an AV near us, but we go to asheville to visit out the local bird rescue.
(i plan on fostering to help them out)

Nope. They go through the juvenile molt when they are around 6 months old and you said weeks ago that she was four months old so she must be 5 by now, right?

Yep, and my AV told me bliss might be a few months late at molting.
Bliss is already starting to show brighter yellow, so we think it is a male.

you keep any parrot from plucking by keeping it happy.
Sometimes parrots pluck and we have no reason for it though.

There is always a reason if a bird is plucking, but we have to discover it, if we hope to stop the plucking. And the reason always related to the birds living conditions, as birds in the wild do not pluck
