Close the door. I have a storm door and the regular door, when I open the storm door I close the main door.

I should get a storm door, thanks. Can you put tracking chips on birds in case they fly away?

they do make microchips for birds, they are surgically implanted by the vet, but I don't know if they are just for identification or if there is a tracking option.

If you live in a house, a secure passage out is essential - such as the extra door Wolf has.

Despite any and all precautions that one can take, there is nothing that can replace vigilance in protecting your bird.
