may one day we live in a world where every dog is a well behaved one (well we can hope right?)
I swear I never looked at every other dog with suspicion when I had my own and we are only talking 5 years since I lost my last one :/

And it can be achieved! I am always amazed at how good the dogs are in my country! You never, ever see two dogs fighting or even growling at each other even though there are still people there who walk their dog without a leash (which makes me cringe and give them the 'evil eye' :D ).

Thats good then. I've only recently started looking after other peoples pets part time atm but it scares me how many of the dogs have been attacked by other dogs and are now really nervous or reactive because of it. One of my own did get bitten once but luckily it didnt affect him with other dogs. One of the ridgebacks i looked after had horrific scaring from where a dog had ripped chunks off of her.
I just try to stick to areas that are quieter these days. Its such a shame, when we had my last 2 we used to have an unofficial 9am meet in a local park with other owners with friendly dogs and they would all play together and get far more exercise than they would alone. All i see now is owners staying at opposite ends of the park avoiding each other.
