OMG, hard to watch is right! All those poor, poor birds in those little cages, no food, no water, no light, no love, no flight -nothing that makes life worth living to them... it broke my heart! People don't realize the huge problem that bird hoarding is! Dog or cat hoarding is more visible so people know about it but bird hoarding is hidden easily and more difficult to detect. Just a few months ago, they discovered more than 300 dead birds in the home of an ASPCA volunteer who was taking in bird to 'rehabilitate' them. Imagine that! I bet she took in all the birds that were abandoned at the SPCA and told people she was a rescuer when, in reality, she was a hoarder! And you know what? All she got was probation!

We need to change the laws and enforce them!
