I really do understand what you are experiencing as I have four birds that as soon as their cages are opened, three of them make a mad rush to me. Try to keep peace between three birds of different sizes when they all decide that enough is enough and the other birds need to leave because they don't want to share their human (me).
Your IRN is a baby and they need the closeness of their parent (you) and after they become adults they need the same closeness to their mate. If I remember correctly all of this was explained to you when you were asking about getting an IRN. Don't lock the bird up because you are having problems due to your choice to get him. If it is going to be too much then find a good loving home for him and give him to them, he deserves at least that much respect and he is not doing anything wrong or being bad. Pick him up and put him on your shoulder, put him in his cage while you are cooking, so that he can't get hurt. If you cook after dark then you don't even need to do that as he will be asleep.
