Yes, I'm a fourteen year old latter day saint. This was posted quite awhile ago, I'm just looking at all my old posts.
On another note, I haven't got to revisit the sanctuary yet unfortunately. My parents aren't up to taking me. I wish it was closer.

When I volunteered at NC Zoo wildlife rehab I found there was another volunteer in my town. You can check with the shelter to see if there is a volunteer near you that you can travel with.

Would your parents allow you to foster a bird?

I doubt a minor would be allowed to foster, it would have to be the parents. Volunteering is also iffy for minors because insurance companies don't cover them. We used to allow minors to volunteer as long as they were older than 15 and were accompanied by their parents.

Although I'm not completely sure, this is probably the case. If I can't volunteer, I just want to visit the parrots. I'm guessing fostering is providing a temporary place for the parrot to stay?
