Yes, introduced invasive species always upsets the balance that nature created.

I also recently came across an article where the invasive species is the rose ringed parakeet in the UK and Europe.

Yes, but, usually (and I don't mean that it cannot happen), there is always an outcry that introduced bird species will 'push' the native species out but it hardly ever comes to fruition. They said the same thing of the quakers and the cherry and mitred conures here in the States and nothing happened.
