Ohio bird expo

Postby AnimalAffinity » Mon Mar 30, 2015 10:45 am

I have been considering going to a bird expo on April 12 in Marietta Ohio, but it is quite a drive. I want to know if any of you have gone or know someone who has gone. Was it worth going I don't want to drive three hours if it's not a nice expo I am taking my family and I don't want them disappointed. Thanks!

I know absolutely nothing about this specific expo but have in general been disappointed with other bird expos. If you do decide to go, absolutely don't bring your bird there because those are breeding grounds for avian disease.

I never patronize places where they commercialize companion species as matter of principle but, aside from that, Michael is 100% correct about the contagion risk for our own birds so, please, do not touch any bird in there and put your clothes to wash and take a shower when you come back before you interact in any way with your birds.

Of coarse I wouldn't bring my bird I was wanting to go to buy a harness for my bird and a t stand. As well as to check things out.

Well, make sure you disinfect them thoroughly before you allow the parrot to touch them.

Go to the expo if you wanna look around and stuff like that. But if you're looking for a solid T Perch or harness, look no further cause I've got you covered: http://ParrotWizard.com/Store

Actually it's well worth it. You can waste money buying 3 different low end perches and be unhappy each time and spend more or just get the best the first time and look no further.

XS Harness for Ring Neck. The training perch actually makes putting a harness on easier. Because there is nothing extra and it's practically floating in the air, as you put the harness on, there is virtually nothing for it to get caught on. Doing the same on a tree, chair, play gym, etc is much harder. But that's not the only thing the training perches are for. They are for flight training, trick training, and just to have your bird hang out with you wherever.
