Just so you know it will take two years for the cut primaries to regrow. Depending how many were cut and how much was clipped Casey may be able to regrow enough to fly in about a year, maybe sooner if he has not molted yet this year.

Yep, Wolf is correct, there is no 'near' future when it comes to clipping because a parrot doesn't molt all its feathers at the same time and they only molt once a year so it takes two molts to regrow cut feathers... but, if this bird has been kept to a strict solar schedule (which I doubt), it might molt in July as it's supposed to.
