I haven't been keeping up posting intakes and adoptions. We have adopted out 59 birds so far this year. Some birds were in the rescue for almost no time at all. Maya (DYH) and Snowball (Goffins), were both with us for over 1100 days. They all stay with us until the right home comes along.

I'm surprised you still have the golden conures and the vasas because they are unusual enough to warrant a lot of attention from prospective adopters, no?

Goldens are loud enough to deter those looking to keep
Them inside. I also think they have to stay in RI. Not sure.

They do look weird.... I wonder what happened to those follicles and whether it was from trauma or a congenital defect.

She's open-banded and 47 years old. So, as a wild-caught birds I'd suspect that injury is more likely than congenital.

Yes, trauma is more likely but congenital, although not as likely, could be a possibility because the wild-caughts sold as pets were taken from the nests when babies so, even though a bird with bad plumage might not have made it to adulthood, defects do happen in the wild - same as mutations... it's only that most of them don't make it.
