Same here: anxiously awaiting good news! And yes, I am sure that leaving Tango for Brian to handle did help. I noticed he plucks and barbers, the poor thing, I hope he feels better under Brian's care and love.

One of the volunteers making some progress with Squeaky. You can see how he has been tearing up his feathers.

I saw a picture of this guy today. He is doing great in his new home, and his feathers are coming back in. He looks great.

I thought Fajr was super ugly when I first got him, but now whenever I see a GCC, I fall in love with it! They're just all cute beyond measure in their own way.

Awwww, I love it when I hear of a previously sad birdy doing well in his new home! Thank you for the wonderful update!

This is Ashes. He is the biggest, most beautiful CAG I have seen. He is calm and quiet, VERY intelligent, almost regal. He went home today

Here is Ashes about to go home. He was here with 3 female CAGs, Haley, Hope, and Echo. He waited for all his lady friends to safely go to their new homes, and then he went himself. He is always a gentleman. We have no more CAG at the rescue, and just one TAG (and he has picked a person, so he may be on his way soon)

Tanya was in fostercare. Rather than make the foster mom bring her back to the rescue, I signed the paperwork at the rescue and then went to her foster home to get her. She's only been here for 3 days, but it feels like I've always had her.

Her last blood draw was in July. Cholesterol was 356.

Well, supposedly (and I say supposedly because, as far as I know, all the blood tests value ranges have been determined from pet birds and not from wild ones so they are iffy at best) normal cholesterol goes from 50 to 350 but this covers ALL species so, personally (and I am not a vet or had any formal training), I would say that 356 is pretty high for an amazon (I am basing this on the fact that they are supposed to eat less fat and protein than other species).

Navre, I saw that photo on Tumblr! Was pleasantly surprised to see that you had adopted her ( I may or may not skim through this thread just for the pictures sometimes, thus my surprise). Good for both of you!
