Is that the same bird I've seen called a bare-eyed cockatoo?

He looks like a blue front with no blue on the face. I haven't seen any Amazon hybrids. He's not a mealy. I'll try to get good pictures. He is the right size to be a blue front. He can talk, but he didn't answer when I asked him what species he was.

So he has pale yellow on his face, a brighter yellow with some red 'specks' on the bend of wing, red and black secondaries and some red on the tail undercoverts?

That's Pepe. I don't know what kind of Amazon he is. He's really nice. I suppose it doesn't much matter.

While there is no need for me to say it, I will still do so, I am not an expert but this would appear to me to be a hybrid of the yellow shouldered and yellow naped and/or yellow headed Amazons. The yellow naped has the right colored feet and beak as well as the right eye color, while the only one that has the right yellow at the bend of the wing is the yellow shouldered amazon. The yellow naped does not have the yellow head but the yellow headed amazon does. I kept going through all of the pictures of amazons that I could find and could not get close to the right colores in all the right places without the blending of three different amazons.

Someone suggested it was a blue front with very little blue, but I'm not sure that the feet are the right color. His file says, "Amazon unknown."

Actually, it looks like he has peach colored feet and a black beak.

With black feet :amazon: does not work. Rambo has pink feet. Myrtle has black beak and feet. (the color really took me off guard when I first saw her. I thought Amazons just had different feather colors. Wow, was I ignorant.) It is a good thing I was already in the forum.
