You can see in other critters that different species can be friends. Mine even take care of each other. ZaZa the cat is about 16 now and a little cranky. The other cats don't want to walk passed her. If one of the dogs see what is going on they will walk between the two cats to stop the tension.
When my Lucy dog was young she did not come when I called her. Ashka and Fancy cat both went after her to smack her and make her come back to me.
I don't know how they understand each other but two of anything can bond.

Yes, you are right, Liz. I have often seen such 'communication' between different species.

My critters are mine and I have bragging rights but so many have commented that if reincarnated they would want to come back as a critter in my house.

Bucca is beautiful. He is a handful, so he doesn't get out enough, but he enjoys himself when he does.

Casey does seem to be quite taken with you and his action are the same as Kookooloo does to me especially when she is feeling a bit hormonal.

Casey looks adorable! And after seeing Bucca I am revaluating my dream of having a too someday. So much energy!

I have to see him with more people. He is in quarantine so not many can interact with him. It's possible that he is like that with everyone. All I know about him is his hatch date (1997) and he had 1 male owner who passed away.
