Maybe she is a citron that has had a bad diet. My Zachary was given to me as a Lesser Sulfur Crested but, after two molts, I realized he was a Citron. He had been fed pellets and had never gotten a good plumage...

Brings up a question.I am trying to get my birds used to eating glop.I am using Kashi, adding white beans and some thawed veggies. When I taste this mixture it is very bland,I wouldn't like it.Should I be adding something else that the parrots will find more enticing?I have eaten some of the Kashi with dinner but added olive oil and garlic, tastes good with some spices.
You may be correct about the poor diet.Previous owner feed a cockatiel mixture that had lots of sun flower seeds. That's the reason,I took her to the vets to get a blood sample.Vet,who is listed as an exotic animal specialist, said she was low on calcium.Techs,at least, are all parrot owners according to their resumes on the internet. There was a Grey there for a visit and another gentleman speaking to others about parrots.

My birds will eat it plain without a single problem but I add seasonings to it. I do one day 'sweet' and one day spicy with things like black or white pepper, chili powder, oregano, rosemary, thyme, cinnamon, ground ginger, allspice, nutmeg, paprika, garlic, chopped hot peppers like habaneros, chiles de arbol, jalapenos, etc. Just make sure the cinnamon is the Ceylon one and that you don't use a lot of garlic.
