And YES, Argentina and Uruguay have, pretty much, the same culture and foods -only Argentinians call the pastries 'factura' while we call them 'bizcochos' but the only difference is the name. And one of my husband's favorite dishes is also pascualina (he complains all the time that I don't make it often enough -and it's true, but it's a lot of work for just two people)
I can't decide if I like pascualina or impanadas better. When I went to Argentina, we ate facturas/bizcochos every morning for breakfast for three weeks in a row.
