I don't know of any breeders in Florida, but have you looked into any of the bird rescues as a source of a bird?

Check cragslist, kijiji and rescueme, too. GCCs are given up in droves because they require hours an hours and hours of one-on-one or they get nippy but they are fine in a matter of weeks once they get the attention they need to be happy.
