So, my mom said she's going to get rid of all our Teflon because she read about the various health issues it brings.Getting rid of Teflon was one of the biggest turn offs for them about getting a parrot so...
Little light, lead us through the night, and if we die, burn down the forest.

Well, it could be a concession towards life with another parrot or it could be that your research into the dangers of Teflon as relates to parrots made her realize that it is not good for her family either. In any case it shows that she was listening to what you had to contribute. Wonderful.
