Hi all

It's been a while again. I've just been ridiculously busy.

Ollie has been very much up and down. We've been unable to source a companion for him so far so all my time at home has been 100% his. He has been sat with me doing work on the computer, I've been preparing a ton of stuff for him to do whilst he is alone. I've been quite poorly myself and also nursing a poorly mouse and a poorly Ollie.

Not too sure what went off with Ollie as he was losing weight again and also very cold! He didn't lose interest in his food though and still wanted constant attention. He spent a lot of time cuddled up on a hot water bottle on my lap. As per usual with my lot we have no answers but he seems ridiculously active now to make up for it! I'm convinced my vet thinks I make it all up....

Hope everyone's ok a long with your flocks. It would be nice to know how everyone's getting on as I don't think I shall have time to catch up on all the un-read threads for a while.

You have been gone for a while. Welcome back. My flock is about the same except for loosing Retweet. I have no idea what happened to him. The cockatiels had a community nest going and he passed while sitting on it. Rambo and Myrtle are doing well. The cockatiels are more fun to be with every day.

Mimi, my Amazon is learning how to touch and play with a human without biting down too much and has started to accept treats from our hand and is now coming out of the cage and exploring the outside of it. Kookooloo, my Grey is doing great and has started to wrestle with my hand now and then and is playing ball though I think she is throwing it at me as opposed to, to me. Kiki is just as sweet as can be most of the time and has started saying her name and thank you. The budgies are doing well and are getting a larger cage this week, just waiting for it to arrive. Paquita, the parrotlet that I went to NJ to pick up is now living with a boyfriend and is still as sweet to me as ever if not more so.

Hello, good to hear from you again! Fajr's broken leg haS healed and Lemon and Clover have continued picking up words and becoming more comfortable. They're all living in my room while we wait for painted rooms to air out, so it's never quiet. Just got to hear Fajr practicing "good boy" for the first time while trying to go to sleep myself.

Hi, Marie! Nice to hear from you. I rehomed some of my birds (the handicapped tiels and budgies because I couldn't let them out of the cage enough and two male amazons, one because it was bullying two old amazon hens and the other one so he would have a companion at the rescue where they went). I took in a 25 year old badly plucked lesser sulfur cockatoo as a companion to Freddie, the one I have, but we are still working on getting him used to the birdroom so he is not yet living there full time. I am also going to pick up a male for my redbelly female this Fridays. Lost a few old cats, brought in two feral kittens sick with panleuko (they got better but there was a third one that had to be put down)... aside from that, everything is good.

Sorry to hear of your losses over the past months but also glad to hear the positives too.
Ollie is much back to his usual self if a little light and took a chunk out of my ear earlier! completely unprovoked little bugger.
