I didn't really give much detail when I commented earlier...
I'm a Payroll Administrator by day and a Certified General Accountant student by night. I'm also a volunteer at a local rescue and foster dogs in my home until they're adopted.

If we had an empty bird cage at the pet store I would definitely bring my bird in to watch me work, but I doubt my boss would appreciate it like the bird would.

I work from home. I am currently a medical transcriptionst/QA (quality assurance) editor and I work nights from about 10 pm till I get the kids up and off on the bus for school each day, so I am here 24/7 with the birdy bird and other animals. I currently mentor people who have completed transcription training courses, so that they can get experience and be hired (most companies require 3 years experience). This is why I do not usually spell check my posts, I spend most of my time spell checking and grammar checking so I chose to not do it when doing my own personal fun things.

Hi,
I just wanted to give you a word of warning: ferrets will get a hold of and seriously injure or kill your Senegal in a heartbeat! It's usually recommended to not even have a pet bird and ferrets in the same house. Just wanted to let you know to be extra careful with that. (I'm sure you already are but I figured since you are new to birds you might not know the danger ferrets represent to them)
