Lol like I said already thats not a hand rail its just a glass barrier if that wasnt there kids could easily fall off and most likely die its on the second floor so of course there has to be a barrier.

Yes, it's a 'barrier' and the 'barrier' has a top for people to rest their hands on. That, by definition, is a handrail, my dear. But, if you want to call it something else, it's fine. The point is that whatever you want to call this thing that tops the barrier, it can and will be touched by people. People you don't know, people who might be sick, people who might not wash their hands - and you put your birds on it. Birds clean their feet with their beaks so whatever is on their feet ends up in their beak - and that is the danger I am referring to. And please do not tell me that people do not touch this dooda that is sitting on top of the barrier because there is no way on this green earth that you can possibly know that. Now you are very young and at an age that you think you know more than anybody else -and that's normal- and these are your birds so, as your property, you can do whatever you want with them but you can't justify an action that other people consider dangerous by insisting that the name used for the dooda is not the right one.

I dont consider my birds my property or my pets because birds are not pets I think of them as my children and im just looking after them and giving them a happy healthy life and I understand what your saying I didnt think of it like that I wont put them on things like that anymore and I read the link you posted thats disgusting what they found on escalators.
