Undead Parrot

Perfect for Halloween on the forum. ;)

I have a feeling that Grump's issues had lain more in the realm of poor diet, exercise, mental stimulation, and socialization than in pure, unadulterated hate. ;P

In reading both the post and the link from the original, I felt it was a parody. I think the author loved that bird. All animals (humans included) can be cantankerous at times, some more than others, and some are loved deeply despite, or even because of, their unique personality. I imagine that immortalizing the bird in a darkish comic was the authors way of dealing with the loss of this pet. I am going with parody.

Maybe you are right.... I hope you are. But, I have to tell you that I have personally known people who felt that way about pet animals.

@Kakariki, quite accurate, lol

I know I definitely exaggerate Fajr's angry moods (he's in one of them right now, relatives came over for a wedding and he is NOT happy.) Artists definitely do exaggerate for the sake of making the story more interesting. That poor grey though! Seeing as the family let him fly free, I think they did what they could for him out of love...ignorance was just worked against them.
