Hi Chantilly
Assuming that they have been sexed correctly which is much easier when they are adults many get mis sexed with they are younger if your unsure there are plenty of articles on line showing the difference.
So assuming it's a male and female its normal male behaviour he wants to mate, the male is naturally aggressive towards the female during mating the male bites the back of the females neck.
They should be separated as the male will constantly harass the female otherwise its normal.
2 females will happily live together but 2 males will fight.
Hope that helps

Thankyou :)
I lifted their tails, Marley has two big bulges and Mira dosn't.
Thanks again :D I will try to separate them soon. I just dont want Mira to be stressed, get hurt or worse.

it sounds like how my home was when my kids were growing up. dogs, cats, g pigs, ferrets, iguanas, pet rats, hermit crabs, fish, scopian and terrantular have lived with me. they had to research the critter before they could have it. some of them were after my kids grew up and started work so I took care of them. since I don't like cages I opened the door for the iguana. he was so clean and would climb down and use paper before walking the house with my furry animals. it was like having a dog that changed colors.
the scorpion was really cool. she was in a large tank with a lid. I would back her into a corner and use the end of the lid as a barrier so I could clean and feed her. it wasn't long before she started backing into the corner on her own when I took the lid off. I loved them all.

I didn't do it. my son brought it home. I was really careful at first but learned her personality. I know people think I am crazy but it bonded to me. she would back up in a corner automatically when I lifted the lid.
my son brought home a pup he named Dakota. he grew quite large but was sesative to those around him. he would sit and cry at the tank when it was mating season for the hermit crabs. he thought they were fighting and wanted me to break it up.
my daughter brought home a cream colored rat and kept it in a large cage. one evening while I was bored, I got a piece of Dakota's dry food and held it near the cage for the rat to reach out and get it with her tiny little hand. she stored it and reach out with her hand open asking for another. I played this game with Dakota walking back and forth with me to get one piece at a time. the nxt morning I heard Dakota crying. he was sitting t the rat's cage crying because she had her little hand out asking him for a piece of dog food.
