Invasive species UK

Postby Toggsy » Thu Nov 19, 2015 9:33 am

Not sure if this been posted before short videos of Indian Ringneck's :irn: living wild in and around London they are now recognised as an English bird species , being refered to as posh pigeons.
Bit different to your normal feral pigeon which is normally found in London but after watching one of the videos I was shocked to discover how many established birds there were living in London and there I was thinking it was just few thousand but the amount they are quoting is mind blowing.
After digging around a bit on the Internet there are small colonies of budgies, alexandrines, monk parakeets and blue crowned parakeets also living wild in the UK
Enjoy the videos
