Painted Conure

Hello, i am new to the forum and have a male Yellow Sided Green Cheeked Conure named Rio.

I am seeking a male Painted Conure of any age to be his friend. Of course I am seeking one that is socialized, will step up, had all his shots and tests, and is healthy. I find lots of people in forums that have them I have not been able to find breeders. The ones listed on the breeders directory web sites have old information.

I would do a search in Craigslist. Those birds need help. That is where I got Myrtle and a lot of my cockatiels. Or you could go through avian shelters. There are many like Rambo who came from loving humans who just could not care for them anymore.
Though Myrtle was terrified when I got her she has become so social that she can be considered a pest into everything and going to anyone including those she does not know. People she does not know are so surprised when she lands on their shoulder and asks for a tickle. I warn everyone including repair men before they come in the house about her.
