You clipped her just after getting her, and in your posts when you just got Mango, and she was terrified you posted pictures of her in her flight suit! You just got her and somehow you managed to shove that uncomfy thing on her when she was if I may quote you 'terrified of hands.' !?????
Tilly has a great relationship with me, me and my family and I have had her for almost 2yrs, and I can not get her into her harness. I am slowly getting there with baby steps. But I can imagine it will be a long time till she lets me put it on her.
There is no such thing as quickly building a good, fair, strong relation with a bird. It takes time, they are not like a cat or dog and they need to warm up to you in their own time- a long time.

First of all Tiko is everybody's shes a family pet and I never said she doesn't like me she just didn't have a good relationship with me and now she likes to come in to the bird room and we bond this is something that I only started doing recently and we have been progressing over time.I didn't take anything too fast with my birds yes maybe Mango but we have slowed down a long time ago, Also Mango doesn't mind wearing a flight suit and he isn't that much terrified of hands anymore he wears his flight suit all the time when going out.And Mango is a boy not a girl you seem to forget that. And who did I clip? If your talking about Mango I clipped him a few weeks after getting him and all my other birds are flighted and you know I never ever clip without a serious reason.Your Tilly is nothing to do with my birds, All birds are different mine are very motivated and were harness trained quickly.Nobody said anything about building a quick bond I have been working months with Mango and he has progressed a lot to stepping up on my hands and sometimes touching him and getting the flight suit on.I don't know what happened to you, You seem like you just wanna argue with me all the time now.

I do not know if you are using any flooding techniques on your facebook group as I do not follow it. I do know that you have used them in the past and can pull up threads to verify this. If you have quit using them then that is great and I applaud you for it. I really do not understand why you seem to think that someone speaking of your own history is such a bad and offensive thing, Are you mad or ashamed to admit to having made some mistakes? Making mistakes is normal and something that we all have done, what counts is that we learn to not keep making them. Why waste so much time looking for things to be offended about?

As I have stated several times already in this thread, if the OP is happy with the results from working with you then this is good. No one no matter how good they are, or how well intentioned they are can reach everyone, I apparently was unable to help this person for whatever reason and they went over to you and you helped them this is great and I do not have any issues with that. I really don't understand why you do.

I don't have any issues I'm offended by the lies that was said not my history.I don't remember ever using flooding techniques I do remember asking if I should do something before I do it so I couldn't have used flooding techniques.I would like you to pull up those threads.Whatever was said about me its forgotten now.

Brandon, nobody was trying to tell lies about you. Cockatiels that are not even 2 years old are not full adults. As to Mango's age, I am confused because you got him a few months ago and said, if I remember correctly, that he was either not yet or around 1 year old and these birds are not full adults until they are over 2 years of age. The fact is that adult birds react differently than babies or juveniles and that cockatiels are not the norm when it comes to temperament, and this is something that needs to be taken into consideration when you give advice. Not all parrots species are the same and not all circumstances are the same so the advice cannot be the same for all cases.

I know that you think of yourself and advertise as a professional trainer but I already told you that I don't agree with this and why.

I never said I was a professional trainer and I said I was a Parrot trainer because I take my time to help people and train their birds.Male cockatiels reach maturity at 12 months and Females at around 18 so yes they are adults. And Plum heads Males don't get their adult plumage until 2 and a half to 3 years old thats how I know his age and the place I got him from they said he was a year and a half but weren't sure so yes Mango is definitely a Adult and so are all my birds.
