Using other cages

All week Rocko has been sitting in Mango's cage and eating his food and sleeping there and sometimes Loki sits in there too but Rocko more and sometimes he stays in there most of the day.Is there a reason why they stay in each other's cages?

I don't think it's so much another bird's cage but a matter of their liking to 'switch' favorite spots every now and then because my birds which don't live in cages do it, too.
