When I read this, I had one question in my head so I am curious to see if you, guys, have the same reaction so what is the first thing that comes to your mind when you read it?

Why is she carting around birds still dependent on hand feeding?? I'm no breeder, but I'm pretty sure that is a major no-no, outside of the vet.

Other thought was that the rest have probably perished by now. Didn't see what state it's in, but between predatory birds, night animals, and domestic pets....not much chance. And that's not counting territorial non-predators.

Yep, that was exactly the same question that popped into my mind as I was reading it... which immediately led me to another thought: she is lying. First of all, for somebody to have 14 babies, she must have, at least, 4 or 5 breeder pairs so this lady is not somebody who has a pair of tiel pets that laid eggs, she is a breeder. Now, what could a breeder be doing transporting 14 babies? Does it make sense that she was going to 'visit' somebody? No, of course not. A breeder doesn't risk losing the 'merchandise' just to show it off to a friend. She was selling them to somebody who was going to handfeed them (possible a pet store).
