I am amazed that he does not call to them.

I raised a Starling that I name Friskies. (I took him away from a cat.) As a fledgling he would sit in the window and call to the wild ones long before he had the nerve to join them.

If you Myna is an adult, I can't imagine why he does not call. You haven't had him very long but he may be depending on you a lot more than you think. He sees the others like himself but does not try to call them in. ?

When my Cockatiel Bubba flew away and Sweetie was left alone she had a friendship with a Cardinal who would visit outside her window. At first they did not speak the same language but he came back every day until she started to sound like him.

Could his little noises be like crying? Is it that he knows they are Mynas and he can't join them?

Hopefully someone with a Myna can help you. Key Mynah into the search and see who else has one. You can always PM them even if they have not been on the forum for a while.

I don't think he's an adult yet when I first got him the guy told me he was around 2 months old and his size is small comparing to the mynahs that visit.
the sounds he make aren't that loud but I'm pretty sure he's try to talk to them or maybe asking them to free him lol .

that is so sweet that ur bird made friends I thought that if the mate or companion dies or gets separated they don't do so well.

As I said in your introduction I know very little about mynahs and have to rely on research to help me to provide you with answers, something that I tend to do a lot of. So I did a little reading and although it appears that the most likely bird that you have is the common mynah which is prized for its singing and talking ability in the pet industry. Still there are several species of mynahs, so a written description of your bird or a photograph would help a lot in knowing which one that you have and may also explain the size difference in yours and the wild ones that you see in the wild. It seems that they are most often seen in pairs but that they have a communal roost in the wild that can be either purely mynahs or mixed with crows and other starling type birds and that they often maintain two roosts of which one is where the female roosts and raises the young. Mynahs are fiercely aggressive in the defense of both of these roosts and it is believed that they mate for life. At present I don't know how long the parent birds continue looking after and feeding their offspring but will find that out shortly. They are also omnivores eating a large amount of insects as part of their diet as well as other forms of meat up to and including small reptiles and small mammals, which also includes grains, berries and other fruits.

If his vocalizations are soft when he sees the other mynahs outside, I would think that it is because he is still very young and would like them to feed him in the manner that his own parents would have were he a wild mynah. So I do not think that he is angry with them at all as those vocalizations are more likely to be both loud and rapid as well as probably harsh sounding.

I hope that this is helpful to you.

Are you, by any chance, located in Asia, Australia or South Africa? Because, as far as I know, that's where wild mynah flocks can be found. If this is the case, there is the possibility that your baby was poached from a nest in the wild and, if that is the case, he is reacting to the sounds he knows. Are you offering him soft food?

He may be asking the flock to feed him. Food is comfort.

When Friskies was old enough and good at flying, I would open the window when the other Starlings were in the yard. I was surprise when he started begging from them and even more surprised that they fed him when he begged. It may have been his own flock. When they flew away he came back to the window and wanted in.

The Starling flock used my foot tall red tip bushes as their nesting sight but flew away when their babies were able to keep up. Friskies did not have a flock to beg from. My Chick Chick was the only bird in the back yard and Friskies would beg from her. Since a chicken does not feed it's babies, she taught him how to hunt and peck. He needed the bonding with another bird.

I don't know if that helped in any way but it is something that I observed and learned from.

I think it could be the same with Crowley I tried opening the window just for them to hear him but they wouldn't approach if the window was open so Crowley unfortunately is having a one sided conversation with them

Ah, yes, poor thing, he is most likely a poached baby. Please make sure that he is getting soft food... I would not feed pellets to a Mynah (do they even make pellets for mynahs?), they need insect protein when they are growing up and soy is a very poor substitute for it.

Yeh it looks like it.the pellets they sell is low in iron but i still have to add other fruits in the diet and the insect could be used for treats otherwise as far as i read that its not essential
