Are you feeling Rosie? Do you blush ?

Postby oknuma » Fri Apr 02, 2010 10:02 pm

uh oh... guess what I did?

and hubby isnt too unhappy ahahha

took our princess DD to the pet shop today and as we were looking at the birds this gorgeous young tiel was eyeing her up and following her around the cages, hanging upside down to see her and so on.

I looked at prices $150 for a hand tamed? I think not!!!

but then we discovered this pretty little tiel wasnt a hand tamed and so was only $30. Well i made an executive decision and DD is over the moon happy!!

Her name as you can tell is Rosie-Blush (named by DD)

Her cage isnt fully set up as yet, we need to get some more natural perches tonight and make some more toys tomorrow as well.

DD has spent some time talking and Rosie-Blush is happy to be touched gently and comfortable with hands in cages but for now she is in quarantine in DD's bedroom with the radio on to calm down and explore her new home.

( i think its official that i now have MBS hahaa )

Congrats on the new addition to your flock! She looks like my step-daughter's cockatiel.
