When we lived in New Mexico, I knew people who had wonderful aviaries. One in particular was an old-fashioned adobe house with an internal courtyard. They added sets of modern sliding doors on all four courtyard walls. It made for a wonderfully open feeling that didn't feel limited by an overhead clear roof that could be "rolled back" somehow or other. They had 5 parrots who had indoor/outdoor cages and various perches indoor and out. Parrot Shangrila, I called it.

The adobe house sounds interesting , i wish you had pics of the court yard area . Has anyone seen the parrot video about the huge rescue the monks have?? It looks to me there several acres is done with a lot of chain link fencing and that's bad for birds. Is there a special fencing like that in huge rolls I don't know about? B.W.
