I am sure that you already know this but, if you do, just bear with me as I feel compelled to write it, just in case you don't. In my personal experience and as per my beloved Dr. Jodie, the best avian vet I've ever had, birds ALWAYS rally and appear to get MUCH better after their diet, housing and general conditions improve dramatically (and I am talking even blood work results, mind you, not only visually) BUT this 'improvement' might not, necessarily, end up been permanent. When the damage is great, they will improve dramatically at the beginning but the body will 'adjust' to the better conditions and the problems will appear again and stay for good (this happened to me several times).
