It makes me sad when I see a bird living in a filthy cage, I'm glad that it's not someone on this forum but still sad for the birdie in the gross cage. BW

I hear you! I don't like dirty cages, either! I 'do' 24 cages every day and my hands look as if they belonged to an 80 year old woman because of it but I rather have 'old' hands and clean cages than 'young' hands and dirty cages! Having said that, I have never had a single bird that was bothered by poop - the little boobies would perch right on top of a big, sloppy, wet poop and get their feet all dirty without batting an eyelash!

Well my little miss prissy toos will not even eat a sticky banana without me either holding it for them or cutting it into bite size pieces. All 3 of my girls are very particular what they step on and if ( God forbid ) they step in something ickey they will hold there foot up and scream mama until I wash there foot off. I guess I hit the jack pot with the girls  they honestly think I am there maid. :violin: BW

Ahhhh, such dainty little ladies! My grandmother would have been proud of them! Not mine, they would step on anything and hold their own banana chunk in their 'hands' -but I never give them their bananas really ripe, they are always more on the green side than ripe so they are nice and firm (and lower in sugar, too).
